Cow is the Mother of the Universe

Which means: The Mother Earth is maintained by the following seven super powers. They are Cows, Bramhins, Vedas, pious women, Vearacious people (Persons who always speak truth only), Persons who are not at all Greedy and Philanthrophist (Generous in donating for Charity). Hence, Cows are considered first amongst those who maintain the Earth.
Since Vedic age, service to Gomata or indigenous cow has been considered as one of the purest form of service. Cow is an integral part of our culture & heritage since time immemorial. SHE has been worshipped & revered as Mother of creation for she bestows infinite love & compassion in the form of her milk that has all nutritional ingredients & cow dung and urine which have medicinal value.
But in contemporary India, it’s heartbroken to see the widespread negligence & disrespect towards cow. Being a slave of so called modernity with all its empty propaganda, we’re destroying the inherent delicate balance among the five fundamental elements of the Nature. With all the technology, tools & advanced model, we’re dreaming for heaven in earth but in truth, with such attitude, we’re moving towards mass annihilation.
We’re standing on the threshold. The only thing that can save us from this is to re-establish the ancient culture of cow-based agriculture. Much effort has been put by revered saints & seers across India to restore the practice of keeping cow in every house & cow-based farming.
With humble guidance of Paramahamsa Swami Prajnananda Maharaj, World Leader of Kriya Yoga International, Odisha Goseva Samiti has been established with sole aim to spread the message of the importance of cow herding & cow-based farming. We believe, all-round sociological & economic development can only be achieved if and only if we preserve & develop our indigenous cattle through out Odisha.
