Ever useful Cow is the foundation of Indian Culture and is treated as Mother. Cow raising has not only religious & spiritually important but it has Social, Cultural & Economical significance. Through the development of Science, though human gets lot of material benefits, it simultaneously throws much negative impacts afterwards. Conservation and development of the Indian variety cows is essential to dissipate these negative impacts.
The products that we get from Gomata like, Milk, Curd, Ghee, Cow urine & Cow dung etc. are of immense help to humans. We can produce poison free organic agricultural products by using Cow dung & Cow urine. All the milk, milk products, Cow dung & Cow urine that we get from Indian Variety Cows are much better than the cow product we get from Jersy, Holstine & other Hybrid cows.
It is now scientifically proved that the milk that we get from jersy, Holstine & Other Hybrid cows does contain defective milk protein which is responsible for Diabetics, Autism & Heart problems.
Cows which has all characteristics as described in our Scriptures only are considered “Gomata”. Other cows which do not have all characteristics described in our Scriptures are referred to as “Gabaya”. Jersy, Holstine & other foreign variety & Hybrid cows are segregated in this variety “Gabaya”.
Cows are lives of GOD’s beautiful Creation. Since ancient ages, Cows are raised domestically in Indian civilisation and are considered as mother. In those days all sections of the society happily raise Cows in their houses with deep love. Their knowledge of Cow raising spreaded slowly to other Asean, European & many other Countries of the world.
The force behind the sustained economic & cultural development that happened in India was Cows raising. Nature fulfils all of need of humanity through Gomata. Cows fulfil our very basic needs in the fields of transportation, Agriculture, fertiliser & pesticides, Milk products and medicines. In essence Cows are a permanent source of Health & Wealth. Money & Gold may be very precious but Cow is priceless. We gain both Material & Spiritual wealth from Go-seva.
Hence, all efforts should be made to preserve Cows. It’s unfortunate that human race goes on destroying the Cow population and thus dis-balancing nature. A great responsibility is there on the shoulders of the educated and elite class, civil servants, Scientists, Educationists & Doctors and also the Government to stress on Desi Cow conservation, Cow based organic farming, use of Cow based products for self-sustainable society and a healthy Country with a strong sustainable economy.
Let us strive together to make our Country a self-sustainable & strong by the Desi cow movement.
